US-based goalkeeper, Christian Caulker says his doors are open if Sierra Leone needs his services.

The shot-stopper can be remembered for his time with the Sierra Leone national team in the World Cup & AFCON qualifiers in 2008, 2011 and 2012 were he made an impact.

Subsequently, after an allegations of match-fixing in 2014, he lost his place in the Leone Stars and has since not made an appearance.

Currently playing for Maryland Bobcats, Christian Caulker says he has not retired from international duty and will gladly accept a call-up when he is handed an invite.

“For now, I’m performing great and I’ve gained soo much experience. If I can help my nation by getting a call up I will do so,” the former FC Kallon goalkeeper said.

Christian Caulker continued, “I’ve not retired from The Leone Stars. Anytime I’m called to represent the nation, I will show up.

The 33-year old further emphasized that he will always give his best performance whenever he is given the chance to play for the Sierra Leone national team again.

“My doors are always open. I will give my best anytime I’m called to represent the nation,” he concluded.

The Leone Stars will tackle lowly-ranked Sao Tome & Principe in a double-header of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
