One of the financiers of the Bo Rangers Football Club, Fassally Tarawally, has presented a cheque for Le500,000,000 (Five hundred million Leones) to the Executive Chairman of the club in fulfillment of a pledge he made last year.
Mr. Fassally Tarawally last year promised to donate Le500,000,000 to Bo Rangers Football Club if the team won the 2021/2022 Sierra Leone Premier League.
For the first time in its 68-year-old history, the Bo Rangers Football Club this year won the prestigious Sierra Leone Premier League trophy.
Mr. Tarawallie, at a well-attended dinner party organized at the prestigious Galiness Hotel in Bo, presented the cheque for Le500,000,000 and pledged to donate another Le1,000,000,000 (One Billion Leones) if the team won the 2022/2023 Sierra Leone Premier League.
He has also pledged 500 bags of rice, 500 bags of onions, 500 gallons of vegetable cooking oil and 500 of other cooking condiments to feed the team for the 2022/2023 Sierra Leone Premier League season.
The team’s Executive Chairman, Babadi Kamara, praised Fassally Tarawally for his financial and moral support to the team. He described Fassally Tarawally as one of the biggest financiers of the Bo Rangers Football Club.
Bo Rangers Football Club were recently declared winners of the Sierra Leone Premier League for the 2021/2022 football season.
